2. Bech Group Limited as data processor

In certain cases, Bech Group Limited is a data processor on behalf of our clients, e.g. if Bech Group Limited administers a whistleblower scheme or makes an electronic platform available, e.g. an electronic data room, a tender portal or an insolvency portal. In cases where Bech Group Limited is a data processor, Bech Group Limited acts according to instructions from the data controller and in accordance with a data processor agreement. In these cases, this privacy policy does not apply to the processing.

3. Purpose of processing and categories of personal data

In connection with the delivery of our services, we may process the following information about you:

If you are a customer of Bech Group Limited, we generally process your information in order to provide you with advice (with the intention to enter into or fulfil the agreement we have with you or the company you represent).

Company information is basically not covered by the data protection regulation.

We also refer to the Bech Group Limited business terms and conditions.
In this instance, we can process information such as name, title, company, address, phone number, which networks you are part of and in some cases birthdays and anniversaries, etc. The information is generally only collected if you choose to give it to us, e.g. via your email signature, business card, etc.

The basis for the processing of your personal data is Bech Group Limited’s legitimate interest in maintaining and developing the above-mentioned relationships, cf. the data protection regulation, article 6, subsection 1, letter f.

Depending on the specific circumstances of the case(s) we assist with, we may also process sensitive personal data about you, cf. the data protection regulation, article 6, subsection 1, letter f and Article 9, subsection 2, letter f, information about criminal offences, cf. Data Protection Act section 8, subsection 3 and 4 and/or information about your CPR number, cf. the data protection regulation, article 6, subsection 1, letter f, and Article 9, subsection 2, letter f, cf. section 11, subsection of the Data Protection Act. 2, no. 4, cf. section 7, subsection 1. We can also process your sensitive personal data if it has been published by you yourself and it is relevant to the case we are processing, cf. the data protection regulation, article 6, subsection 1, letter f and Article 9, subsection 2, letter e.

Bech Group Limited and our newsletter service:
We collect the information, for example, to register you for courses or newsletters, to organise events or to send you brochures, invitations and other information about our services and company.

If we wish to process your information for other purposes (e.g. for marketing), we will always inform you of this and obtain your consent to this processing, cf. the data protection regulation, article 6, subsection 1, letter a.

If you sign up for our e-mail newsletter, we process your name, e-mail address, company, organisation, place of education, position, language preference and areas of interest. The legal basis is your consent, cf. the data protection regulation, article 6, subsection 1, letter a. Reference is also made to our page about the news service.

In certain cases, we use your personal data to send out client satisfaction surveys as a result of our legitimate interest in improving our advice and services, cf. the data protection regulation, article 6, paragraph 1, letter f. You can always unsubscribe from receiving customer satisfaction surveys by writing to us or by clicking on the link at the bottom of the e-mail you receive.

We do not share your information with our business partners, who are webinar providers, newsletter services and trainers. If you have registered for a webinar on our website, in connection with the registration on our website you have received information about who the webinar provider is and what significance this has for the processing of your personal data.

4. Recipients

In certain cases, we hand over your personal data to our business partners and suppliers, e.g. IT suppliers, providers of client satisfaction surveys, suppliers of newsletter services, etc. These business partners only process the personal data on behalf of Bech Group Limited and in accordance with Bech Group Limited instructions.

5. Third world countries

Bech Group Limited does not transfer your personal data to third world countries.

6. Security

We have high standards for security, also when it comes to the protection of your personal data. Therefore, we have a number of internal procedures and policies that ensure that we live up to our high security standards and thus meet the requirements for the implementation of appropriate technical and organisational security measures. Thus, we do our best to ensure the quality and integrity of your personal data.

If you need to send us sensitive personal data, we recommend that you use encryption, e.g. secure e-mail or code-protected file (Word or PDF format).

7. Cookies

When you use our website, information can be collected via cookies about, for example, user behaviour, browser type, device category, information about your preferred settings and IP address.

Processing for marketing purposes takes place on the basis of Article 6, paragraph 1 of the Data Protection Regulation. 1 letter a (consent).

Processing for other purposes, e.g. statistics on website visits, optimisation of functionality and the like, takes place on the basis of Article 6, paragraph 1 of the Data Protection Regulation. 1 letter f (the balancing of interests rule), where the legitimate interest for Bech Group Limited is to develop and maintain a relevant website that functions optimally.

8. Storage and deletion

We delete your personal data when we no longer need to process them to fullfill one or more of the purposes stated above. However, special legal regulations, including in e.g. the Accounting, Money Laundering and Limitation Act, may give us the duty or the right to store them for a longer period of time. The information can also be processed and stored longer if it is anonymised.

Documentation for your marketing legal consent is kept for two years from when you have revoked your consent to receive direct marketing material. The retention period is set on the basis of Bech Group Limited’s legitimate interest in being able to document that direct marketing has taken place in accordance with applicable legislation.

Personal information included in bookkeeping material is stored for five years from the end of the financial year, after which the information is deleted. The storage period is set on the basis of the storage requirements in Section 10 of the Accounting Act and is therefore done with a view to complying with applicable legislation.

Personal information that we have obtained in accordance with the Money Laundering Act is stored for five years after the end of the client relationship and then deleted.

9. Your rights

You have the right to gain insight into the personal data that we process about you, with certain exceptions provided for in the legislation. In addition, you can object to the collection and further processing of your personal data. You also have the right to have your personal data corrected, or you can ask us to restrict the processing of your personal data.

If requested to do so, we will delete the personal data that we have registered about you without undue delay, unless we can continue the processing on another basis, e.g. if the processing is necessary to establish a legal claim, if it is necessary for to answer an inquiry from you, or if we are obliged by law to store the information.

In certain circumstances, you may also request that we provide you with a copy of your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and request that we transmit the information to another data controller (data portability).

If we process your personal data on the basis of your consent, you can withdraw your consent at any time. This can be done by contacting us (see below). If you withdraw your consent, we will cease to process your personal data, unless we are entitled or obliged to continue processing or storing your personal data on another basis, including in accordance with the law. Withdrawal of your consent does not affect the legality of the processing that took place before the withdrawal of consent.

We reserve the right to change this privacy policy due to significant changes in legislation, new technical solutions, new or improved functions or to improve the website.
